Ashish Goel
Prof. Goel is a leading expert in network algorithms, web commerce, reputation systems, and social networks.
More generally, he has research interests in the design, analysis, and applications of algorithms. Prior
to joining the Stanford faculty in 2002, he was an Asst. Prof. at USC. He is a recipient of an
Alfred P. Sloan fellowship, a Terman faculty fellowship, and an NSF Career Award.
Peter Ridder
Mr. Ridder retired as Publisher of The Charlotte Observer in 2006, after 36 years in the newspaper business. He
was publisher of several Knight-Ridder papers during that period.
