Assertion:
A portion of District 7 in San Jose should be named Little Saigon.
Essay and/or background: People in District 7 want a shopping area named Little Saigon, but the city council, led by District 7 representative, Madison Nguyen, voted to call it Saigon Business District. There have been protests from the community since.

The majority of people in the area prefer the name Little Saigon. The will of the majority should prevail.

While the majority of Vietnamese in that area may prefer the name, this is an action of the entire city and the will of the entire city must be taken into account.
