Stephen Colbert for President!

Essay and/or background: He tried to get on the ballot in his native South Carolina. The Democratic party wouldn't allow him on the ballot saying he wasn't a serious candidate (he only tried to get on the ballot in that one state). The comic effect of having him run would be justification in itself, and can you imagine if he won? He's probably more intelligent than anyone else running and would help expose the absurdity of much of the system.
